About the Journal

Valley State Research Review (VSRR) is the official annual peer-reviewed journal of Valley State College (VSC), published by the Research Management Cell (RMC). It provides a multidisciplinary platform for scholars and professionals to share original, high-quality research.
VSRR follows a strict peer-review process and adheres to ethical publishing standards under a Creative Commons license, with copyright retained by authors. The publication begins with a call for papers announced via official channels. Submitted manuscripts undergo initial screening for relevance and plagiarism, followed by blind peer review. Authors revise based on reviewer feedback, and final decisions are made by the Chief Editor. The Managing Editor coordinates the final publication process.

Submission and review process
Valley State Research Review has established its own standard submission guidelines, which can be found at (https://www.valleystatecollege.edu.np/research). It is highly recommended that authors carefully review these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts. Authors have the option to submit their manuscript either via email to the publisher’s email address: v-rmc@valleystatecollege.edu.np or in person. Upon receipt of the manuscript, the author will be notified accordingly.
Plagiarism checking
The manuscript submitted to this journal is to be processed by linking with plagiarism-checking software using Turnitin. The articles with a more than 20% similarity index are rejected for publication.
Initial screening
The Managing Editor, with the help of the production team, performs an initial review to ensure submissions comply with formatting and style guidelines.
Peer review
On successful completion of initial screening, the manuscripts are sent for a blind peer review to the selected reviewer based on their expertise.
Reviewers are requested to follow the provided reviewers’ guidelines during the evaluation process in the area of their expertise for each review. Emphasis is placed on providing constructive feedback, not just critiquing the manuscripts.
Anonymity
Authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. Manuscripts are coded to conceal authorship, and reviewers are assigned a unique identifier.
Conflict of interest
Reviewers are asked about any potential conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to provide an unbiased review. Editors assess possible matches and make decisions accordingly.
Reviewer rating
Reviewers are requested to provide an overall rating or recommendation (e.g., accept, minor revisions, major revisions, reject). Clear justifications should accompany ratings.
Chief editor’s decision
The reviewer’s comments and suggestions are subject to assessment for deciding whether the manuscript should be sent for review to additional reviewers or content should be requested to be incorporated by authors. The Chief Editor considers reviewers’ feedback and decides, and the managing editor communicates it to the authors.
Confidential
Reviewers are reminded of the confidential nature of the review process and are instructed not to share information about the manuscript.
